European social Funds

Le Fonds Social Européen was created by the Treaty of Rome in 1957. Managed by the European Commission, it forms part of the four funds structural of the European Union. It is the principal instrument at the disposal of the Union to concretise the goals of its Employment Policy.

The European Social Funds launched in 1994 the initiatives ADAPT  et EMPLOI, implemented in France by calls to projects of the Social Affair and Ministry of Labour. This device aims multiplying and at developing all the transnational actions having the goal of anticipating the transfers and to propose new solutions for the use of those which today are excluded from it. Set up jointly in all the Member States, this vast device has the role to facilitate the exchanges between country, to transfer competences between same branches of industry, for better registering in the facts the natural passage of the community of ideas at the community of interests.

ADAPT

ADAPT is a Community Initiative financed by the European Social Funds (ESF). His goal is to help the employers and the workers of the E.U. to anticipate the industrial changes and to manage their effects. This program will be implemented until end 2000.
